The purpose of this company is to promote awareness of the environmental dangers of single-use plastics and to support the efforts notable foundations that are actively removing plastic from our oceans. I am creating an online business which will sell Canadian-made eco-friendly merchandise (t-shirts and sweatshirts), as well as Canadian-made reusable products (straw kits and produce bags), to replace single-use plastics.

50% of the profits earned will be donated to various enviromental foundations.

The money raised during this campaign will be used to:

- Pay for our talented graphic designer to create amazing graphics for T-shirt designs

- Purchase inventory of Canadian-made eco-friendly products, fabrics and accessories

- Pay our in-house manufacturers for the production of our produce bags and other accessories

I’m the mother of three young, curious and thoughtful children. We recently came across a disturbing video on Facebook that showed a helpless turtle with a plastic straw stuck up its nose. My daughters were distraught by the video and rather than hitting the "Like" button, I wanted to teach my daughters how simple daily changes can infact make a big difference. I wanted to teach them to be more than just bystanders but influencers in their young communities. More importantly I wanted to teach them to be leaders for change.

I came across various foundations that are actively developing methods to clear the ocean and I knew I needed to be a part of this change and have my daughters join me on this journey.
